into a violent argument, which morphed into an arson attempt, then was
complicated by assault and battery. Shortly thereafter it became a
mystery, was it a double murder, a murder/suicide, maybe a double suicide?
And where had the money gone, had it been spent to buy jewels. If so,
where were they? There is some sex - thoughts, discussions and even
a few brief descriptions of sexual activity, so I suppose this tale could

that change the lives of everyone involved in ways they would never have
envisioned. This is a rewrite of story which was partially posted at a
previous time on a 'mainline' website, but was retitled during the rewrite.
Anyone who has read the former tale will recognise it from the first three words
of Chapter 1.

'sasquatch' in the Alberta tar sands, then things got involved
and complications developed. You might say that Jack lived

A short excerpt from chapter 2 of "Reluctant Runner" - a partially completed, erotic
novel. This excerpt is an attempt at humour and includes a description of a fairly
typical snowfall in the city of Victoria as seen through the eyes of a sixteen-year-old
male in the mid 1990s. However it does describe an actual accident, although from
a slightly skewed point of view.

consists of a series of reports to the Council of Psionic Talent (CPT) detailing the
activities of a family who find the council to be too strict, as their youthful talents
develop beyond the limits of the council's somewhat arbitrary rules and restrictions.

mythical, magical and paranormal activities!)

Synopsis: Colin Stuart first came to the attention of the population of the galaxy at large when he left his home on Tiberias II, locally called Scotia, then an all but unknown settlement in the far reaches of the galaxy. He travelled to Primus, center of the Imperium, where he was seeking employment, as well as a solution to a problem plaguing his home world. What he did then triggered actions which would shake the foundations of the Empire and change the fortunes of more than one world.
